So who are you? What do you do on weekends or when you’re together? What excites you both? What are those little things that make you you? Do you have a common passion? How did you meet? What do you like about him? What do you like about her? Who are the key players in your wedding, your best friends? Your father? Your pet? Are you going to exchange gifts before the wedding? Are you going to exchange vows? Who’s going to give speeches? Who’s going to be emotional? Will it be your sister? Your uncle?
These are some of the questions we ask a couple to help inspire the filming of your wedding day. Like you, we want your wedding video to be unique and not just another wedding video where the bride’s putting on her makeup, the couple’s cutting the cake or sharing their first dance. These moments are special parts of the day, but a wedding is personal because it’s your story.
Share as much or as little as you are comfortable. We also get to know you by listening to you and observing your body language, because it’s true that 80% of communication is nonverbal. Sometimes there’s an interesting story or initial reaction, and it might be only the tip of the iceberg. That’s why we want to meet you in person. Meeting you is the first step to a great wedding story, one you’ll want to share with friends and family.
